A restaurant with great vibes and pretty decent food! I came for a friend's birthday dinner so it was a big group of us. The service definitely stood out. They even help you take professional photos of your party! We ended up buying one picture for $20. Onto the food...I personally ordered the burrata salad with a side of salad and chicken. Such a big portion and no complaints. I loved the sweet pea soup as well -- extremely tasty. We got some seafood to share amongst the group. There is a great view from this restaurant as well.
Everything is excllent. The food is amazing. We order Ceviche first time here and real octopus is served which we havent been to any place so far serving octopus. 2nd dish is Poke and real crab is served. We lovee the crunchiness of the burgers bread. The meat is juicy as well!!
Went here for a birthday lunch and it was amazing. I loved the location as it was right by the water with great views of the Husdon River. Food was great as well. I had the General Tso chicken and waffles and that was sooooooo delicious. Also the staff was so accommodating as they helped me to choose my meal. Also since it was lunch and it was a weekend, it was cool to see everyone dressed in football jerseys for football Sunday. Great food, great times and looking forward to coming back here again.
Great sports bar with good food. Service staff attentive. Steak sandwich with waffle fries recommend. Appetizers of sushi, calamari, sliders we shared. Sports bar atmosphere.
Excellent food. Try the guacamole and/or the Butternut Squash and Brussel Sprout side to start. Won't disappoint!
We come here every now and then when we're passing by the ferry station and overall enjoyed each visit. This past time we came here for dinner without a reservation and were seated right away. Service was friendly and helpful - checking in every now and then to make sure we were good. Good is overall good too. The Weehawken Margherita Pizza is a constant for us and it's good all the time. For our second dish, we had nachos this time and it was pretty good too. My favorite part of Highwood is the energy. It's always lively especially in the evenings and the overall ambiance is enjoyable - great place to come after work or something to relax and have a good time.
12/03/23: Great ambiance and customer services. Gives feelings of high end sports bar. Huge flatscreens surrounds the area great place to watch game and dine. Nice size food portions. Well seasoned and tasty. Pleasurable dine for a last minute dinner.
